In this short clip from a recent book event, a participant asked me to explain what exactly I meant by ‘inquiry walks’.
One wonderful aspect of inquiry is the fact that you can do it absolutely anywhere. There’s no need to retreat to a quiet place, draw the blinds, sit on a cushion or seek solitude (although, of course, you can certainly do that if you like).
Inquiry in a dynamic practice that draws on all of your experience.
You can walk and inquire, inquire while washing the dishes, inquire on your commute… You can do it alone or with a friend… and you can inquire by writing or journalling.
Where and when do you inquire?
